If Alaska is not on your to-do-bucket-list, it most
certainly should be !
Other than areas of the World, that might cause a person to
be subjected to danger, WHY NOT be open, to seeing everywhere in the World,
that you can ! And with Alaska,
connected, right here, to North America, it is not as far to travel, as so many
parts of the rest of the World.
Have you talked to folks who have been to Alaska ?
What do they tell you ?
Beauty is # 1.
Whether it be the mountains, the snow on the mountains, the eagles
flying right by you, or the whales flipping their tales out of the water !
Then there’s the beauty in what you do not see every day at
home, such as, looking at an ol’ shoot-out-town, like the wild-wild-west
shows. Or the glaciers, with an
opportunity to fly over top or land on top and then take a walk. Or panning for real gold !
And then there’s the beauty of history, that you won’t find
back in your own home town. Whether it
be, the lives of the Indians, eskimos; and how what they need, may have to be
shipped in by water or flown in by plane.
Beauty is also in the arts.
Whether it be seeing indian/eskimo cultures; music; plays; paintings
! How homes are built.
Beauty is in foods you find in Alaska. Such as dungeons crab. And their long-lived cultural recipes. And
fishing right out your back door !
You also have “some” things, just like home. Such as shopping for jewelry. You often find the same vendors in the cruise
ports of Alaska that you find in the Caribbean.
It’s time to include Alaska on your bucket list ! If not, you’ll miss one of nature’s most beautiful
opportunities.
FYI, many cruise lines have 2014 rates and space, almost
available ! Keep your eyes open.
Thanks for the post. You should take part in a contest for one of the best blogs on the webcruiseports
