Had a returning client call me this week, only to figure, he knew exactly what he wanted, for this Alaska cruise.  As I told him, I can either sell you exactly what you ask for, or we can look together, at your choice, and then you determine.     He chose, that we look together at options, so that he could decide, if this 1^st choice, was best for him.

In my opinion, decided “Which cruise”, shouldn’t be taken light heartedly !  How you go about choosing your Caribbean cruises, is often, “which port have I not been to before”, right ?

With Alaska, you may not go here but once, right ?  Though which ports is your ship including is important, it’s also as important, which ones are they NOT !  For the most part, Alaska cruises do not include every available option. Wave Season 2016 has been somewhat different this  year !  While 70% of my customers buy their next vacation “prior to” the upcoming year, usually another 20% buy during Wave Season.  January through mid-March.  Another 10%, usually buy, last minute, “during the year”.

As mentioned this year has been different !

How ?

The cruise lines have many cruises already out and available for purchase for 2017.  To include Alaska.  Normally the cruise lines are not ready for “the next year” Alaska season, till just before or after the upcoming season begins.

It’s why this season has been different in “vacation buying”. Folks are actually thinking 2017.  Whether it’s folks who don’t have a vacation booked for 2016 and “those who do” !
